One more question.
Is there a reason you use the last trading price as the mark price instead of index price?
The index price of USDT seems to be more stable than ltp and seems to indicate that index price is better for mark price?

Yeah it's not clear what the right answer is.
But: the advantage of using the futures price is that it's what you can actually trade at.

Yeah that's true. It also depends on what you think the fair price is, the underlying market or the futures.
For USDT the index is much less volatile than the futures price based on historical prices though...

Do you know why the price of USDT-USD on March 13 went to 1.04? It was the day when BTC went down by 50%.
