Noticed lately many new DeFi projects looking to be marginally improved versions of incumbents, where founders are motivated to build "X, but with Y new features". Imho many of these projects will suffer the same fate as 2017 layer 1s.

There are no right or wrong products. Right products are considered safe, but we need the "lefts" to innovate at times. Calculated innovative risks can produce out of ordinary results. Isn't this #crypto?
