No one ever said that Ethereum never went down and people will rightfully make fun of it when/if it does again for some reason. Though, Solana isn't a blockchain - it's a centralized database and its token is akin to AWS credits.

Eth haters said and continue to say the same thing about Eth. Not sure what you're trying to achieve with this hate but it doesn't look good. Be better than this. Afaict, Solana is pursuing meaningful innovation and building a great community.

The difference is the "ETH haters" are objectively wrong based on verifiable facts. I am not wrong in calling Solana centralized - it 100% is as evidenced by today's outage. Solana is akin to EOS - both projects are net negatives for the world and I will fight against them.

It appears like there was a bug in their consensus algo. That doesn't mean they're centralized. Liveness is hard. Have you ever engineered a consensus protocol? It's hard work. Some of us know from experience. Solana and EOS are worlds apart. I'm sorry for whoever hurt you ...

It doesn't matter - if a node going offline can halt the network then this could happen due to maliciousness or government action - it doesn't have to be the result of a bug. How are they worlds apart? Both require supernodes to run and devolve into cartels because of this.
