I like Sam and all, and he out performed this year against the cohort but these are all legit accolades:

it was an odd list -- I kinda felt like there was a random mix of really impressive and really hard to read but no the surface unimpressive resumes
Totally it is becoming more and more a statement piece like the time person of the year. Plenty of subjectivity.
And, as I said, I think you crushed it - but that shouldn't detract from some other strong accomplishments in that peer group.

Well ya, they can’t give all the spots to white guys who did MBA’s at the IVY’s or westcoast equivalents anymore.
