We'll be rolling out an upgrade tonight which should give a further 3x increase in FTX's fill processing capacity! We don't anticipate any issues or downtime from this.

Is this matching engine focused or broad across the board? (i.e. will this help with the UI issues that were hit yesterday, and if not can people expect a post mortem and plan of attack for avoiding that specific issue in the future?)

Yup this specifically addresses the thing that happened yesterday -- which was, basically, post-order-matching processing/notification of fills.

Totally fair The whole radical candor on these things humanizes it, & strips powers from the Ichi's of the world by making it clear they are being asshats. Same reason the 'build in public' trend is popular Critics yell as they put you on a pedestal. So remove the pedestal :P

1/2 Got it so some fail on emit or listen for notification service to update UI. I'm sure I speak for a lot of users, that one thing re-assuring when issues happen is transparent and candid post-mortems "X is exactly what happened, we did Y and Z to address"

2/2 Too many companies constantly try to save face & keep to general improvements statements & avoid fault. Customer pains are always specific. You don't want a doc saying "you are better now" in general if you've just asked them about a specific concern. Cuts off trolls too!
