3) Solana has huge throughput and speed and is cheap. That means that it can support a *lot*. Which means that you _can_ build complicated, intense things on it. Which means people *are* building intense things on it. Which take longer than simple things.

4) Some of the beta versions of these are fucking awesome. Some will probably never make it to release--such is the nature of building products. But some will.

5) Many are not previously crypto-native businesses. When you have enough power, you can take a large non-crypto business, and put it on-chain, without losing functionality. That, in the end, is what it means to be able to scale.

Nope, anyone can mine! The KYC is, before on-chain staking rewards go live (soon), to get off-chain staking rewards. But (a) will go away soon and (b) is not relevant to validate or produce blocks.
