2) They'll settle if either: a) official tallies show a winner b) all of NYT, 538, 270towin, Fox, and CNN have called the election for (a) to be true, it'll need the states to have released sufficiently final tallies. That might or might not happen.

3) If neither of those happen, it'll end up settling to whoever is president on 2021-02-01.

we'll look into it, but note: 1) that would force the other side to tie up their capital for months 2) these were always the rules and were public 3) the networks are being pretty slow to call anything. For Fox to call the election for Biden would take a *lot*.

not exactly true with Fox they have been calling states way ahead then they should be. 2. It goes both ways the trumpwin buyers will end up losing there bet but turns out trump wins and yet we get nothing even though he won

there are 2 things here: the PnL swing, and locking up capital. Either way total PnL is the same across everyone combined, but in one case capital is also locked up.

I would rather have my capital locked up until everything settles with the recounts and Supreme Court decision rather then trump wins and yet we still lose to $0
