2) They'll settle if either: a) official tallies show a winner b) all of NYT, 538, 270towin, Fox, and CNN have called the election for (a) to be true, it'll need the states to have released sufficiently final tallies. That might or might not happen.

3) If neither of those happen, it'll end up settling to whoever is president on 2021-02-01.

I think it is just the answer to the question "is trump president today" so an undecided thing would mean no Trump is not president today... even if he ends up being president in a few weeks.

I think you guys should rethink on how this will play out as the Supreme Court will have the final decision on the next president

we'll look into it, but note: 1) that would force the other side to tie up their capital for months 2) these were always the rules and were public 3) the networks are being pretty slow to call anything. For Fox to call the election for Biden would take a *lot*.
