Having known this was coming, I'm quite curious to see the reaction from the ethereum community. Just for clarification, the $AUDIO token and it's various use cases are always gonna be on ethereum. .... a few thoughts below.

i definitely didn't have anything to do with this decision, but as somebody that is genuinely excited about what they're trying to achieve, it's a tricky balance. Do you wait for ETH L2s to evolve to your needs, or do you adapt to what's available today?

1/3 It completely depends on your alignment and intentions. Perhaps there are a few things to separate out: 1) We saw your brand as being a "pro Ethereum" personality. If we misinterpreted, then this was our mistake. This is why your tweet re: Solana surprised us. Incongruous.

2) If Audius desires to just be a platform agnostic service, they will choose the lowest hanging fruit. However if they want to be a flagship for ETH, push the technology forward, and align with the ETH mission, they will work alongside and evolve *with* the L2s of Ethereum.

3) Perhaps there is also a conflation happening between our perception of you as an ETH personality and Audius' individual desires as its own tool. The impact of your tweet was that it changed our perception of your Crypto interests. Doesn't necessarily mean worse, just different

Not as bullish as BTC. But yes. We believe as these ETH2 developments piecemeal come together (at a glacial pace) there'll be more buy in, hype, and adoption. People have a deep love for Ethereum and theres a huge dev community buy in. We don't see others replicating this soon.
