To be clear, there was no change; I'm pretty sure this limit was always there. The reason is because some people have effectively tried to DDOS FTX with conditional orders (each one takes matching engine processing power).

This isn't a limit to the number of *orders*, or positions, or anything; it's to stops etc., because each individual once needs to be constantly evaluated to see if it would trigger. So having too many slows down the matching engine.

ah got it. eh for now you could use chunkier conditional orders or something -- I'll chat with devs to see whether the limit is more restrictive than we need.
