Makes sense but I think you need to bare in mind that some of us keep our money on exchanges as another safe keep incase our wallets are compromised.

oh yeah to be clear no one would use this, 95% of people would still use username/password
but it would be cool for defi-native folk who want it
quite literally. in a lot of defi platforms you can also fish you funds out if the front end goes down.
