2) Most DEX volume right now is farming based: either directly farming, or getting the right coins to farm.
Serum doesn't have much farming yet (though it will soon).
Instead Serum has.... you know, trading.
Because it's fast and cheap and liquid.
3) And so today, when things were volatile and trading was busy...
Serum's volume went up, with trading.
And other DEXes went down, with less focus on farming.
