but less so! AMMs trading on orderbooks are less fucked, and lower latency means less uncertainty which means trades happen when the AMM is off by fewer bps

Well there are fully on-chain DEXes! bonfida.com/dex but also these AMMs will be faster, cheaper, and probably a bit less prone to IL from those. In addition AMMs that trade on the DEXes will naturally line up with those prices!
