Are $SOL and $SRM basically all depending on just two PoH master nodes? Have the current ones been elected? Sounds awfully centralised. What happens when a certain 3 letter agency decides to come after a PoH generator admin for running infrastructure for an unregulated exchange?

Not to mention you have to go through KYC to be permitted to run a validator and can't run one from the US.... which would imply that internally you'r aware of the concern.

that's not true, anyone can run a validator you're referring to a (confusingly phrased) fact that, before inflation is turned on, you have to get KYCed if you want supplemental free SOL from them for running a validator.
