I always think about Jordan Peterson said about the overly rational thinking of people like Dawkins & Harris (et al) & how they expect that people will just all of a sudden leave their religions & become rational like them, if they could just show people the folly of their ways.

They are effective with a group of people, susceptible to rational thinking LOL. My dad always said if people stop believing & worshipping religion, they will do something even worse and worship people 🙃

I don't think we can get away from this, until as a whole humans are using higher level cognitive thought processes, as a rule, rather than exception. This is why neuroscience & brain interfaces are interesting because we are not going to get there organically.
