Sounds like what Kyber was doing. Quickly became the favourite swap for most ethereum wallets

The key difference is that Kyber exists on L1, not a standalone side chain, which means there wonβt be a bunch of trustless Kyber-style integrations for Serum.
Alternative front-ends need to be meaningfully differentiated or else they donβt provide any real value.

FWIW I don't think of Solana as a side chain (though I understand that maybe you do!).
