1) FINALLY -- a GUI to list markets on Serum!
dex.projectserum.com/#/list-new-mar

2) Listing a market:
a) get your token; you can turn ERC20 <> SPL at sollet.io
b) go to dex.projectserum.com/#/list-new-mar to list the market. "Mint" means token contract address.
c) enter parameters and Submit. Check Sollet for messages
d) Copy the New market address

4) The Nodes are handling the details (cranking, etc.)
Bring your own liquidity.
So anyone can now list _any_ SPL or (wrapper on) ERC20 token on ! No permission required, and no coding required either :)

It works. First made the mistake of using same mint address for base and quote pair. Worked after changing that. It looks like trade history not getting updated for custom markets.

How did you get a different base and mint address? i am having trouble setting up this market.

When you're *creating* a market, you use the mint address of the two tokens.
When you're *adding a market to your GUI*, you only have to enter one thing -- the 'Market ID', or the address of the market that trades the pair.

Base Market - New Coin's Mint address
Quote Market - Trading Pair's Mint address (USDT,USDC, etc, you can add any existing SPL token here).
Once you create market with both these, then orders should be fine...
I think my sollet.io wallet has multiple addresses for the same wrapped token so the orders are pointing to the blank addresses per solana block explorer. Trying with a fresh wallet now
