High inflation with lock isn't enough to support or sustain a token value.
Nobody proved it does. Most people are speculating.
Imho it won't work.

I think it does help, though, relative to no lock, all else considered.
But in the end there needs to be a great project for it to sustain anything.
Rather more than 1 revenue stream that captures value.
