I'm taking a long on this pair, betting that $SOL will outperform $ETH. Long SOL, short ETH in equal proportion with USD collateral on FTX. Will cut on a decisive breakdown. I'll be looking at more of these sorts of trades against ETH as well, I think it gets eaten.

1) is your objection to all PoS? What do you mean by "election" -- it's round-robin by weight. 2) ETH does have PoW but it's distribution is _not_ wider. In fact it looks very similar, and if anything is more concentrated: etherscan.io/stat/miner?ran solanabeach.io/#/validators

No sharding, but there is parallelization using write-locks. Sure, but then: a) you'll basically never trust a new chain b) do you have actual reason/evidence that the stakeweight it massively more centralized than it looks, or just a worry?
