You could be right but I’m just saying that’s the politically correct way of referring to someone who’s gender is unknown. Otherwise people would be like ooohhh how do you know it’s a guy, girls can’t program? Ooohhhh

Yeah I was on the fence between saying "him" and "them", seems very likely to be male but idk for sure
