Was Sushi just a run of the mill exit-scam or a subplot of something more sinister?

i think it was neither. the most plausible explanation is that the kid found the migration bug. freaked out. decided he wanted $12M more than $0M and his dignity and made a rash decision.
terrible decision that he will forever have to live with, but not a conspiracy.

sam mentioned it in a tweet and it is fixed now. idk who found it or when it was discovered (before or after the exit)

FWIW:
1) it was a real bug
2) the migrator was the only one who could take advantage of it
3) I think more likely was Nomi was in over his head and each day it was looking harder and harder to back out

he was planning to let the community take over the whole time.
he should have just done that, rather than exit scamming.
now what would have been sushiswap is samDEX. which is perfectly fine. to go along w haydenDEX, which is cool too.
but neither will ever be a real open org.

Eventually maybe. re: Nomi - in over his head does not excuse what he did. If he'd take 10-20% instead of 100% and handed over politely he'd have been forgiven
