do you have any good ideas for how to weed it out at all? I mean in the end it'll be a sushipowah vote which will be better, but would love to have some tasks in between...
(trying to strike a balance here between curating and making sure it's open and I'm not exercising too much power here...)

I feel that if they’ve held positions in the blockchain space for over 2 years and haven’t left. You need people who are in it to win it but also those who understand key security even if it’s just one shard.

Could there be a way to delegate executive functions to another address in case of MIA after a certain amount of time?
If so, there could also be a 2nd vote for a 2nd layer of delegated, arguably more serious actors. (Kind of like how there are alternate senators).

These other addresses don't need to come from outside (to avoid making another list). They could just be a certain X amount of people voted from the current list

Seems like striping out anon-memelords may be a good idea.
Signers need to be folks with something at stake - that was part of the problem we had with anon-Nomi.
