IMO, the problem wasn't the product, it was the producer. If FTX/Sam do a good job of cleansing his stain from the product (e.g., separating the art from the artist), there is a lot of good that can still come from this.

How did the market decide? Because it recovered a bit from a massive dump due to the news? That's not acceptance, that's people trying to make money where they see opportunity to.
