Surprised more Bitcoiners aren't a fan of Uniswap's design. The contract has (1) no oracles and (2) no upgradability or admin key. Once deployed, it's autonomous. Contract voluntarism: When Uniswap v2 launched, users had to choose to migrate (v1 still has $16M of liquidity)

This is too binary imo. From the PoV of any actual user, "admin key that can set one tiny param that barely affects user experience" is closer to "no admin key" than it is to "admin key that can access everything" (which is what the phrase "admin key" means to most people).

Totally agree -- one key thing here is whether admin key lets you make the future system a bit shittier, or lets you fuck over people who are using or used your system. An admin key to set fees (max 1%) going forward is waaaay less scary than one to steal all the funds.

People all scammed on uniswap every day, now scammers started to make ERC tokens which one can buy but cant sell back, because they whitelisted their own address in approve function. I wonder how come uniswap cant check that before it gets listed, test transaction may be
