seems good natured but quite impractical much easier to make the system more robust idea: tax yourself if theres proper system logging to monitor latency then you can pay out to clients who complain of lag (validated w logs) incentivises you to fix platform & stop paying tax

The pain caused by lag isn’t equally distributed and hard to attribute. This is actually a good system. Clients that care get what they want and ftx is taking on risk to support it.
