Let me just come out and say as a FTX user, I absolutely hate that they’re promoting/ pushing an IEO. When it goes belly up, does the exchange suffer? My favorite part of about BitMex is that they understood every coin was a shitcoin and didn’t taint the exchange by promoting BS

We were't planning on doing an IEO until we were excited about the potential of Serum. If you're not, you don't have to use it!
But if you are looking for a DEX we think it will be pretty cool.
Do you have a new team working on Serum or is it the same as FTX? I ask because even though it was only for a few minutes, having exchange issues during periods of high volatility is frustrating when we see you simultaneously push another project. This is part of what my worry is

It's a collaboration between a lot of people. There are some from FTX working on it (though they're still available 24/7), though also some of the SRM tokens are being distributed to FTX/FTT.
