If you interface with ETH you'll have to; if you interface with Solana you won't.
1/2 Sure, as it stands today, but we have to interface with ETH if only for the ecosystem. But yes, got it.
From what I understand, It's effectively a GPU-boosted classical BFT system with fast signature processing (due to GPUs), but can't actually distribute to many nodes.

2/2 Solana is ~100 nodes, which is deeply concerning from a decentralization perspective. As I understand it, cross-chain parsing security with these 100 node operators.
Redis database is also 50k TPS. ;)
