To answer questions: the spot AMPL on FTX will rebase, getting the rebase rewards/split each day! There will be short spot AMPL downtime when this happens. Futures and perpetuals will _not_ split.

Very interesting concept. Theoretically this will cause the futures to always trade at a discount to spot then to ‘anticipate’ the rebase, with the discount growing as it gets closer to rebase time.

Thats means with a price above 1 shorts are paying the rebase? And with a price under <1 shorts are getting paid the contraction amount of the longs?
