. But I saw this thread and wanted to draw out that single comment because I wholly disagree. DeFi was growing at a healthy clip back in May, with little to no MSM attention and hype. Then COMP launched and it changed everything!

But it's also the recent explosive growth that's driving a lot of the attention/valuations right now. So I think it'd be greta if we could transition back to, you know, utility and use cases and stuff :)

I think we all want the same thing--continued sustainable growth. But I guess explosive growth creates attention to draw new folks in. I also wouldn't downplay the utility of stablecoin swaps. DeFi couldn't exist without them. How you count that into trade volume is beyond me.
