What happens when your customers don't all get liquidated

Someone needs to explain to me why so many huge positons are liquidated on Bitmex. Is there some sort of hedge strategy that exists I’m unaware of - because surely people know about stop losses

Yeah if you hear a good explanation pass it along, it's pretty weird
If Bitmex has a Willy Bot that doesnt set stops because it wouldn’t need to- that could explain it...
