People generally look at absolute hash rate, but instead should look at relative to discover deeper insights.
Where is this chart from and what methodology? Looks too variable to be from the pools themselves. Nearly all hashrate estimation from block times is terrible

If you have a Poisson process with mean 10 minutes then on a 1 day timescale the stdev will be roughly 2.5%--so I think most of this is not just explained by the randomness of mining luck.
