You don't have to use it-you can just use normal API keys! But people asked specifically for a way to get ref fees for people using their algo _even if_ they didn't refer someone.
So we built an endpoint for that.

Dude this is a totally optional feature. If you don't want to use this solution for trying to get ref fees from people you didn't refer, don't fucking use it. We still have normal API keys!
