The most bullish signal I've seen all week is a mainstream novelist (who I won't name but she's soooo good & not a scifi type) pinged me (unsolicited!) to ask about bitcoin. I now consider this week a success. 😁

It's an online currency that anyone can use. It's mostly useful because: 1) some people don't trust their country's currency, so they can use BTC instead. 2) it turns out banks are slow and clunky at processing, BTC is faster and easier.
