image if i own 5% of hashrate and just short 50m$ and turn off my machine for a few hours, easy money?

Depends on how much impact you had for that $50m of futures--our math implies it probably doesn't work, which is good, but not 100% sure.
i mean if the hashrate of the miners drop should also the chart of the hashrate token drop right?

there would be no liquidity for u to short 50 mln, e.g. try to short 50 mln dollars at OIL100-0525
