What countries would you be most excited to see FTX build out support for?

Sam, why exactly do most exchanges ban US residents? I understand it has something to do with our regulatory regime but I'm not sure what it is exactly. Tax laws? CFTC? Harsh enforcement?

Either likely laws pertaining to how you handle USD transactions or the fact that perpetuals arent allowed by the cftc bc contracts need a specific expiry

There are a lot of candidate explanations but I've never heard directly from an exchange on which one it is exactly

The 3 biggest things:
1) CFTC guidlines for futures/derivatives
2) SEC guildines for securities
3) Getting good banking
There's also a lot of operational work you have to do (MSB etc.) which takes time/resources/knowledge.
