Lots of people disagree on politics, COVID-19, etc. But I suspect that most people will agree, fair or not, this is pretty brutal for Trump politically. Recessions and pandemics don't tend to be good for articulate incumbents. They're worse for Trump. ftx.com/president2020

Recessions sure of course. With pandemic he will try to paint himself as wartime President battling external force, it might not be so clear cut I fear. Propaganda is a hell of a drug.

Oh yeah agreed--a better speaker would have done a way better job of spinning that; he wasn't careful enough with his message, and I think that'll make this a lot harder for him.
