Unpopular opinion: governments made airlines' businesses temporarily illegal to use; compensating them for that isn't crazy.

Airlines were in financial trouble before the pandemic. Now they will use the pandemic to there advantage.

Def don't think this should get them to above where they were before!
Life happens. Businesses are generally over leveraged & completely unprepared for any downside. Bailing them out sets precedence. Let business fail. Smart money will pick this up knowing bail outs won’t happen next time, then businesses get built properly, not on huge debt.
