If you're an FTX and BitMEX user, the most important things are: 1) Make sure you're using a unique password. If you aren't, change it now. Use a password you've never used before. 2) Make sure GA 2FA is enabled on your FTX account. 3) Make sure your email is secure

Changing your email is fine, and you can do it by emailing support@ftx.com or using a new account, but it's much less important than making sure your password, 2FA, and email accounts are secure.

FWIW, a security checklist: 1) Use GA 2FA. This solves 90% of security issues. 2) Don't re-use passwords. You can check if one of your passwords was leaked here: haveibeenpwned.com 3) Watch out for phishing emails; when in doubt go to the known URL to submit passwords.
