FTX is planning to add Alt vs BTC markets soon (e.g. XRP/BTC futures). Currently all settlement on FTX is in USD. Should the ALT/BTC futures:

If i only hodl btc and want to trade ALT/MID/SHIT perps do i need to convert to USD or can i use BTC & would it settle in btc or USD

You can collateralize with BTC; PnL will be paid out in BTC though. We're looking into a way to make that your choice...
