Eh if he were doing that he probably would have canceled his offer once BitMEX had fallen instead of leaving it out. I'm guessing he actually legit wanted to sell.
USDT currently has a negative premium in Huobi/OKEX OTC, happened a while before the 11.5k broke out. It seems some Chinese whales really want to sell some bitcoins.
