I'm not sure it's worth it to include multiple currencies in Libra. Isn't solving a pressing problem, makes it not stable, complicates it both operationally (how do you create?) and regulatorily (who has jurisdiction?)

It might be a political choice due to Libra’s global ambitions, hence “GlobalCoin”. Regulators around the world might not like a US Dollar equivalent as opposed to something more vague.
