One note about the public editor whose position the NYT eliminated: she blew the whistle on their refusal to tell the full story of Trump, Russia and the FBI shortly before they let her go:

What tweets is so true and deserves far more attention, starting by reading her books. We’re speaking about “the crime of the century”: indeed a crime in slow motion. They knew and got away with it. Until now.

"There was a coup in America, and no one noticed. It was a slow-moving coup, decades in the making, forged by redefining laws and loyalty until the contours of betrayal blurred."

For anyone who needs a reminder, THIS is the man Biden chose to have officially advising him on Covid/crafting his administration’s Covid policy during the transition. Some of us tried to sound the alarm, but people told us we were overreacting. 😒

It’s as convenient as it is costly to believe that “no one could see it coming”. Because we could. Cause some did. has talent for analysis and storytelling, to punch through the veils of narrative & tainted cultural mythologies alike. Read and share her work.

"The story of Trump's rise to power is the story of a buried US history -- buried because powerful people liked it that way. It was visible without being seen, influential without being named, ubiquitous without being overt." Pre-order my new book here: us.macmillan.com/books/97812502

This is a disinformation account which has for years promised that big things were about to happen and that indictments were imminent. If you are following this as a source of news your bullshit detector is very broken.

I assure you, President Obama, Hillary Clinton & James Comey are grinning like a Cheshire Cat. Not only do they know what’s about to go down, but they’ve known it since the day Wet Wipe Trump left office. #Sweetness

To say "the situation must not become violent" is to suggest that an endless string of state-sponsored murders of citizens by police does not represent a violent situation; that the application of violence so far has been appropriate, or at least undisruptive to the normal order.

Every time I see this video I think “He’s such an American guy.” Skateboarding, singing to Footloose in the setting sun, nuzzling a horse, visiting the beach. A young man laughing and free. And then, an American death: a Black man murdered with vicious impunity by police. RIP.

Honoring Tyre Nichols as he lived before the world watches as he’s murdered. My heart is with his family. My heart is with Memphis. Black men deserve to grow old. 🖤

This👇🏼is why I have listened to since early 2016. A brilliant journalist tapped into the big picture and truth from her non-metro/non-beltway vantage in Missouri. #Trump #McGonigal #FBICorruption #TransnationalCrimeSyndicateMasqueradingAsAGovernment

An article I wrote on the FBI on Nov 3, 2016, while McGonigal was heading NY FBI counterintelligence. The bizarre behavior extended far beyond Comey and the Clinton emails. theglobeandmail.com/opinion/trumps
