I saw the most unusual car license plate tonight. It had a weird scattering around the numbers and letters that made it more and more blurry the further away it was. Possibly a way to beat red light cameras?

) Sounds like you might be right. It is an offence to obscure your number plate and attracts a $524 fine. If you remember the rego, you can report it via the traffic watch hotline on 131 444.

I can do that. After all, once I stopped at my midpoint destination less than a minute later I typed the plate into my phone to keep a record.
