Do police have a level of preparedness like cfs? So on hot days u have more cops come on when conditions are bad and u might have to put up roadblocks or evacuate people?

Police patrols, as a part of Operation Nomad, will target bush fire prone areas throughout the state. These patrols are deployed to proactively detect fire activity or risky or reckless behaviour as well as focus on known arsonists within our community.
