Just an observation of the report, you say the collision was between a car and cyclist, but it should be between a car and bicycle. Or remind readers that a driver and cyclist's vehicle collided.

When media & authorities refer incidents they always refer to the car. "The car lost control" "the car crashed into the house". And "the driver was lucky to avoid injury". Almost as though they were an innocent victim. But always refer to a "cyclist" as the individual .
