Can these people have electronic tags that alert police when they are moving at >30kph with geo-tracking? What ever car they are in should be stopped, irrespective of who is driving it, unless a licensed taxi

Frustrating for SAPOL who can only do so much. A legal system that does nothing to discourage bad driving habits and behaviour. If I was a judge, drivers like him would get an indefinite license suspension and/or thier vehicle crushed.

Feel the frustration of police having to deal with these idiots (not just a once off bad day/stupid judgement call, but ongoing repeated behaviour) and soft laws protecting repeat offenders. Its an idiot like this that will wipe out someone doing their job @ 2am

So true. But short of amputating his hands, how can he be stopped from driving? Even an alcohol lock may not work, as he can just use a different car.
And the poor police, firies and ambos have to pick up the pieces.
