Hi Chris, any player who plays unregistered and ineligible, exposes themselves, their team mates and the opposition to considerable risk, including not being insured. Therefore the matter is to be taken very seriously.

Not there to be made an example of. Did Casey get extra weeks based on the motivation of making an example of her. I agree punishment is deserved but I think 2 to 3 weeks would of got the same impact n with media attention surely all clubs would be aware of it

Glad to hear the penalty was amended to 4 weeks, but still seems like a mighty steep price when the W’s season will only be 8 weeks long. Punishment > crime. If country footy teams struggle for numbers in future, how will this be addressed? Could waivers be an option?
