After a recent graduate was forcibly disappeared on the campus of PKU on November 9th, current students were warned that from now on anyone who demonstrated on behalf of those missing or handed out leaflets "would not be protected".

URGENT! This morning, in Beijing, 10 students from Peking, Remin, and Peking Language U staged a small demonstration in front of Apple Store to protest against student intern and yellow union issue in its supplier. A student was taken away by the police!

Ms. Zhang have petitioned to Shenzhen for over 10 times. Her husband passed away for silicosis in 2001, back them they used up all savings and in huge debt. These villagers became migrant workers out of poverty, but end up paying all the money they earned to cure the diseases.

Over a hundred silicosis workers, who built those skyscrapers and ravaged by lung disease, are protesting in social security administration in Shenzhen to demand for their compensation. More and more workers are travelling to Shenzhen to join the protest!

After Jasic case, activities of uni student groups have been obstructed. Yesterday, Peking Uni Marxist group released a public letter to recruit supervising professor after being rejected by all professors in Marxism department. Some of their reasons is "they are not capable"

We received two anonymous solidarity support Germany and America. They had actions at Jasic's subsidiary companies in Seattle, Seevetal, and in front of German Trade Union Confederation Hamburg to call for the release of all the arrested!

Sep 3rd is a critical day for Jasic workers who have been detained since July 27th. As by the 37th day of detention, Bureau of Justic will decide whether the detained will be formally arrested. Below is a poem written by one of the four workers havn't been released till today.

So first they arrested the students, then they suppressed the student organisations. A student group in Beijing Language and Culture University was suspended because of participating in social activities without university's approval. #Jasic

On August 24th 6.30am, 20 Guangzhou police raided into activist Gu, Jia Yue's house in Beijing. Gu, the two worker representatives of Jasic concern group, and a student were taken away and detained in a police station in Beijing.
