        Saw him pitch in 1967-the White Sox, Red Sox & Twins dueled for the pennant all year-the White Sox were managed by Eddie Stanky-challenged offensively but they pitched-Joel Horlen, lefty Gary Peters-great hitter too-the versatile Wood +Tommy John and Hoyt Wilhelm they were tough!
