The report says the children's guardian was home but outside. Teachers didn't cause this. Having an unsecured gun in the home caused this.

I'm pretty much a guns rights person but along with those rights comes the duty of responsibe gin ownership. Whoever is the owner of that gun should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
